My wife Sylvia and I attended the Santa Ships and Light Show at təmtəmíxwtən/Belcarra Regional Park on the evening of December 16.
This event -- co-sponsored by CRAB and Southern Straits Yacht Sales, along with a group of boating enthusiasts lead by Dan Greenwood and Mike Girard — was widely attended by children and their families from all over the lower mainland. Metro Parks, the RCMP, and RCMSAR all had folks attending to ensure an enjoyable event.
On behalf of the Village of Belcarra, I would like to send my sincere congratulations and thanks to everyone who was involved in making this such a special night.
It really was a night to be remembered.
